JDL Fast Track in Winston Salem North Carolina finished their final stages of construction in mid-January, in time to open with the Fast Track High School Invitational on January 27th. The newest Indoor Track & Field facility in North Carolina features UCS In-ground Equipment, Custom UCS Competition Equipment and a 200m Mondo Track.

UCS has worked closely with JDL Fast Track Director Craig Longhurst to create a state of the art facility. Event areas include: two Pole Vault Runways outfitted with UCS 1900 Pole Vault Landing Systems; International Pole vault standards; UCS Spirit Crossbars; UCS Long Jump/Triple Jump Runways built using UCS Sand Pit Forms with Sand Catchers; Grand Prix Take-Off Systems; Shot Put Cage with Wheels; a High Jump Zone featuring UCS 1325 High Jump Landing Areas; International High Jump Standards; UCS Spirit Crossbars; Ultimate Automatic Hurdles; Grand Prix Starting Blocks; and UCS Track Curbing.

A throws area within the oval rounds out the facility with the UCS Self Standing Indoor Cage with Doors and wheels as well as a custom Indoor Shot Put Platform and Toe Board. Surrounding the track are building support beams padded with I-Beam Protection Pads and Square Column Pads. In addition to the competition equipment and competition oval JDL Fast Track Indoor Track & Field features seating for 1,000 spectators and a 60m warm-up track.

It has been a pleasure working with Craig Longhurst and the JDL Castle-team. For more information on the facility and meet schedule visit www.JDLFastTrack.com
