The Orange Flyer discus has a rim that is manufactured out of high strength corrosion-resistant Zamak material – not only a truly great grip, but it will outlast and outperform any other ordinary steel rim on the market today. The GE Noryl side plate is a specially formulated composite that has a unique non-absorbent quality and is the highest impact resistant material available in discus technology today. The 1k & 2k meet NCAA rules and are IAAF certified, while the 1.6k and 1k discus meet the NFHS rules.
