Stanford's Arrillaga Family Sports Center receives a face lift
The home for Stanford Sports Performance in the Arrillaga Family Sports Center has received a face lift. Six new Custom X-60 Rack Systems with Platforms and Multi-Function Benches
have been delivered to replace existing equipment. The Racks stem from 3 years of design between Stanford University and UCS Strength & Speed personnel. Working in the existing confines of the Arrillaga Family Sports Center the racks needed to fit within a predetermined space while not compromising their functionality or ability to house two activity zones.
Modifications to the frame design allowed the foot print to be reduced and custom 5' deep Olympic Platforms helps ensure the tight restrictions were met. In addition to the space restrictions,
Stanford University requested a special storage configuration for their Bumpers, Metal Weights and Bars. What would typically add additional length was built into the reduced footprint. Four vertical bar sleeves wrap around the spotters platform area and internal weight storage pegs were added to eliminate the need to stand alone weight storage trees. The result is an X-60 Rack with no wasted space and enhanced storage features to accommodate the Stanford Sports Performance Program
The new equipment joins existing UCS Glute-Ham Machines, Plyo-Safe Elite Plyo Boxes, Plyo-Safe G2 Plyo Boxes and Agility Hurdles. Stanford University Sports Peformance Staff's confidence in UCS products is an honor and UCS looks forward to our continued working relationship with the program and it's staff.
